Parquet floor creaking - cautious steps of someone entering an old house. There are 2 takes with a non-edited hard join in the middle of the sample. Recording with rode ntg3 on zoom h6 in an old flat in barcelona. No edit.

Walking round the grounds of kirby hall and there was one particularly vocal peacock. Only had android phone with me. Have removed wind interference with eq. There are no other fx on the edit. What sounds like a bit of reverb is from the natural ambience.

No edit was done except for trimming and adding beep sound.

I recorded this sound at home, in the belgian country during the end of a storm (but there is no thunder sound). You can hear rain falling and a river flowing nearby. Very relaxing and useful if you need a rainy ambient sound. I recorded this simply with a tascam dr-40 (internal mics) and just edit it properly with audacity.

Zip twisting mechanism sound, then a drop glug sound. Also sound like a bottle glug. Use examples: you can use this in a number of ways if you edit it. 1. Parking meter. 2. At the close of the children's hospital telethon immediately after it was announced that more than $4 million had been raised, people on the phone banks started cheering, this as the closing credits were being run on the tv screen. This is non-descript cheering, my recording in a public setting having been invited as a journalist to be there to report for broadcast. There are no copyright issues associated with this recording. This is the raw sound, including a few noices when my microphone got tapped. Edit, process to your hearts desire.

I took a very fast recording of someone hitting some orchestral chimes, slowed it down by over 200% and added some harmonic excitement and equalization in post production. Trying to start a 1983 volvo 245 after a stop at a gas station. First we hear the seatbelt warning signal after the driver turns the ignition on. The first start attempt fails. The two following attempts fail because the starter fails to engage with the flywheel, creating a very loud and unpleasant sound. There is some reverberation from the metal roof of the gas station. At 00:24, the driver remarks "he's doing it again!". The fourth attempt succeeds in starting the engine after a rather long cranking. We then drive off and we also hear some squeaking from the steering wheel. Throughout the recording we hear breathing noises from the driver (80 year old man, smoker). The recording was made in the front passanger seat with the window open, that's why there a very noticable difference between the left and right channel.
