A recording of ambient noises in the night, recorded with a zoom h5 handy recorder. The left and right channels have been eq'd differently to give a wider stereo feel, and a reversed version of the recording has been layered on top of the original.

I used my bathroom as a live echo chamber - porting out from my pc, and then recording back via a neuman mic. I liked the tunefullness of the boiler pump in the airing cupboard, so left it running and put the mic in there. This is a very small piece of an overtone composition i made.

An audiovisual délice, in which visual artist myrrh, places tawiahin subtle superposition with james baldwin & his 1965 debate with mr. For this exercice of the sound design formation, we had to upload a sound that intrigues, well, james baldwin eloquent voice, litteral & metaphorically inspired & triggered me. . . Also the sound of electro-magnetic technology called tape is something i have always been fond of. . . So i made an edit of an edit of the james baldwin debate of +- 10 minutes !. Spread the word !a+. Actually this could also serve the exercice of recording a sound that comes from a certain place, or is part of a bigger thing , or personificates a certain place. . .

Edited sound of a tomato squishing to sound like something falling in a well.

This is a cue i built while sound designing the play "wait until dark". I own the right to sound design this production and therefore own the right to this cue. Please feel free to use this cue, just shoot me an e-mail when you do, i like to know what my cues are used for, only out of sheer curiosity. This is a 0:07 clip of car starting, revving its engine, and running someone over in an alley. Mixed in apple logic pro 9. Recordings made with various sdc and peavy pv8 mixer.

Stereo recording of about 5 lads skateboarding in a small square (custard factory, birmingham uk). Sound of wheels rumbling and nice meaty thwacks as the lads jump then land. They went around the square and some movement across the stereo image is audible. There is traffic noise from a nearby main road. Some comments and talking between the lads is audible but not clearly articulated. Recorded on a zoom h2 with the built in front microphones (90 degree nominal separation). Recorded as wav, loaded into audacity for removal of handling noise at start and end only.
